Carthana Charity Research is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3). Our tax-exempt status has been effective since December 20, 2018.
Contributions are tax-deductible under IRC section 170 to the extent allowed by law. We are also qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under applicable sections of the Internal Revenue Code.
As a small tax-exempt organization, we file Form 990-N (e-Postcard) with the IRS when gross receipts are not greater than $50,000, as permitted by federal rules.
